Injecting wit & self-deprecating humor into melancholic themes, they create a space for positive catharsis, by combining it all into fun, fast, upbeat musical arrangements. You are invited to the Rolling Hills Chorus Family and Friends Show! Come join us on Thursday, April 9 for a night of song and revelry to send us off to contest. This event is free to attend and welcome to all. We will sing a selection of songs for you, including our contest package, and there will be a special performance by our quartet, The Rolling Tones! We will provide snacks and refreshments. For those of you with a bit of a sweet tooth, we will also have a bake sale!
There is a copious amount of music written specifically for a Saxophone Quartet. The music written can range anywhere from a dramatic Classical piece to a bouncy Ragtime tune.
