Joel Gibson Jr. brings Pacific Northwest country and southern rock with powerhouse vocals, heartfelt songwriting, and the kind of live delivery that works just as well for boots-on-the-ground country fans as it does for rock audiences. Based in Silverdale, he has built his sound around country, southern rock, and Americana influence, making this a strong fit for a Wednesday crowd that wants songs with heart and a little grit. Catch A Wave is not just “a Beach Boys tribute.” Their show is built to recreate the sound and look of a live Beach Boys concert from the mid-60s, with striped shirts, period feel, and the harmonies people want from that catalog. The group has been performing since 2001, has appeared widely across the U.S. and internationally, and even folds “Kokomo” into the set, so this one should land as pure summer-on-the-water fun.
