Arts Center Task Force

The People Behind the Vision
Meet the dedicated team of staff, board members, and community affiliates working to champion the arts in the Tri-Cities.

Executive Leadership

Blake Smith

Executive Director

From stage-managing high school theater in Arizona to hosting Broadway’s biggest hits in Houston, Blake’s life has been defined by a passion for the stage. Having managed logistics for both the Utah Jazz and the Olympic Games, he brings a unique blend of “big-venue” strategy and “community-arts” heart to the Task Force. He specializes in creating professional spaces where local and touring artists can thrive together. An avid outdoorsman and fly-fisher, Blake is proud to call the Tri-Cities home.

Amber Maiden

Operations Director

From her early days in Kennewick radio to her management of the public image of major regional organizations, Amber’s career is rooted in her love for the Tri-Cities. Having executed over 100 local events—including Water Follies and the Hometown Holiday Parade—she brings a powerhouse blend of marketing expertise and deep community relationships to the Task Force.
